Introducing Bloom: Digital Pelvic Health Therapy

Written by Jacqueline Bailey | 11/1/2022

Did you know 1 in every 7 people with vaginal anatomy experiences pelvic pain?1 On top of that, it takes an average of 6.5 years for those suffering to seek treatment for their pain.2 We want to help change these statistics by ensuring our members have access to pelvic health care.

That is why the Compass Rose Health Plan has partnered with Bloom, a digital pelvic therapy solution developed by SWORD Health. We want to increase awareness about pelvic health and help bring care to those who need it, regardless of their location. Bloom’s services are available to eligible health plan members at no additional cost.

About Bloom

Bloom is an innovative digital pelvic therapy solution designed to help people with vaginal anatomy improve their pelvic health from home. Bloom addresses pelvic dysfunctions such as pain, discomfort, pressure, urinary leaking, and bowel issues. Combining the guidance of a Pelvic Health Specialist, with an intravaginal device and mobile app, Bloom offers customized care for all life stages of life, including pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause.

How it Works:

  1. Enroll at join.hibloom.com/compassrose.
  2. Meet virtually with a Pelvic Health Specialist to discuss your specific needs.
  3. The Bloom kit and intravaginal pod will be shipped straight to your door.
  4. Download the app and complete pelvic therapy sessions at home at your convenience. The app will provide real-time data so your specialist can track progress and provide 1-1 support as you improve.
  5. Enjoy access to the content hub as a safe space to learn more about stigmatized topics and finding relief.

Virtual pelvic health care is now accessible to Compass Rose Health Plan members, thanks to Bloom. If you have more questions about how the program works, you can contact the Bloom team at join.hibloom.com/compassrose or email hello@hibloom.com.

* Bloom is available to Compass Rose Health Plan members with vaginal anatomy ages 18+ at no cost as part of your benefits. This benefit is not available to Compass Rose Medicare Advantage members at this time.
